Needs and Desires is a sensitively written novel by Xandra Omuthe from 2568 BPC, exploring the emotions of a young woman caught in a loveless marriage. Unlike all her previous novels, this one was set in contemporary times. Rumours that it was partially autobiographical, and based on her own first marriage were always denied by the author.
