Simeon Thurbold

King Simeon Thurbold was a famous ruler of Zalgurim between 4593 and 4568 BPC at the time of the Myruthean Unification Wars. Under his leadership, the armies of Zalgurim laid siege to Klaractazum in 4575 BPC and successfully conquered it, a military action which is now seen as being a decisive historical turning point and a precursor to the formation of the Old Pale Empire.
Emperor Hanrith I took Zalgurim as his capital in 4542 BPC when he set forth the Declaration of the Domains of Greater Pale and it was only the earlier successes of King Simeon Thurbold which allowed the city to take this pre-eminent position.
