Sudharma Vyas
Sudharma Vyas was one of the two Arcane Wisdoms of the Arcane Advisors in the Court Circle of Katrapetch at the time when Clarise Vabatan joined the staff.
He specialised in metalworking spells of various kinds to enhance smelting, the manufacture of alloys and the crafting of specialist tools, but he also had a lesser known but profound interest in the partially related arcane areas of pyromancy and geomancy. In 3066 APC, shortly after the eruption of Mt. Rintalima, the Raja, Bhupinder Rajput and the Senior Magician of Katrapetch, Drithald Unkeld, put him in charge of 'Project Sky Shield', a plan designed to protect the city of Katrapetch from the debris and ash that might arise from future volcanic activity in the Katra Mountains and he persuaded Clarise Vabatan to join his team, as recounted in Volume 3 of the infamous mage's diaries.
He died under the Katra mountains, near Mt. Gelzibom, whilst attempting to demonstrate a specific form of pyromancy to a group of mages working on the Sky Shield project, all but one of whom, died with him.
