The Enchanted Fountain

West of the Silent Kingdoms with their endless, lichen slow wars, the convoluted borderlands peter out into an ill defined but seldom disputed zone known as the Unclaimed March. It is mostly open moors and useless bogs but a great expanse of straggly birch trees occupy the drier heaths east of the Ocean Hills, and in these thin but extensive woods, if the weather, the moon and the season are right, you might stumble upon the Fountain of Forgotten Rycasse. Some say that it is an enchanted fountain. Some say that it confers mysterious unspecified benefits to those who drink from it. Well he may be forgotten in the Silent Kingdoms but I still remember something about Rycasse and you wouldn't catch me sipping water from that fountain.
