Unelmien Lapset

The Unelmien Lapset, the Children of the Dream, are the fey born out of chaos and dreaming in the age known as the Dawn of the Fey. The first and eldest is Keiju, "The One Who Walked Alone", but she was followed by others over the course of time and ultimately by the first mother Mam Gyntaf and the first father Tad Cyntaf. When Merch Gyntaf, the first daughter, was born of their union, it brought an end to the Dawn of the Fey and also an end to the chaotic processes which had given rise to the Unelmien Lapset. From that time forward, fey would only be born of fey, giving rise to the Veren Lapset, the Children of Blood.   Throughout the Age of Wandering, the Children of Blood grew more numerous and the Children of the Dream began to die. In our current times, the Unelmien Lapset are thought to be long extinct, although there are always stories that say otherwise, including a persistent legend that even now Keiju still walks abroad on the winds between the worlds of the Discontinuum.
