dragon crystal

The dragon crystal is a crystal that was carved by a gemstone elf named Durunara. Was a magic gemstone elf and was a very powerful one. Durunara decided to put his power in a item. he searched the mines of the gemstone caverns to find the perfect gem. he eventually found one that was the perfect size he was looking for it was roughly the size of his palm. Durunara carved it to look like the head of a dragon then attached it to a branch from a willow tree. he then infused his magic into the staff to help other people in the future. it was a lengthy process and a hard one for Durunara because he had to not use magic for six months then he can then put his magic in the staff. it was hard for him he eventually did it. he helped people in the crystal caverns until something bad happened to him. One night Durunara was at his house when it caved in and he died in the cave in. no one found the crystal on the staff the willow branch was the only part of the staff that has been found. some believe the crystal was shattered in the cave in and the crystal dissolved witch some crystals do. no one besides Durunara knows what crystal it was all they know was it was blue and green a mixture of the two colors. Another theory is that Durunara was in a fight and someone stole the crystal and killed the only one that has the evidence of the fight. The last theory is that the crystal was all an illusion and it didn't really exist and because he died there is no gem to be found. To this day gemstone elves still puzzle on if the gem is real or if it was shattered or if it was stolen.
