the festival of harvest

This festival happens after all the fields have been harvested. This festival is mostly done by farmers in the land of beasts. The festival takes place in the beginning of autumn. People bring food from the harvest and they have a feast for three days and then they go home and prep for winter. It takes place in farming settlements or were a group of farms have been built. The reason the festival was made was because a group of farmers wanted a break after the harvest so they then made this feast were they can rest and feast. Farmers that do this festival do not do any trading when they festival is going on. They also let people that come in and that are passing through to take part and feast with them. Animals like rabbits and mice have figured out that the farmers are gone that they can take some of the food from the storage areas. They haven’t yet figured out an idea of what to do about that problem they still do the festival because they like the bit of rest the get. farmers sometimes throw up when they get back from the festival because they ate so much food. in the festival there is also games and other fun activities for the children and usually the parents play board games and other stuff at the tables the activities usually start at night. some people do not participate in the festival usually it is because they don't like going near people or its because they have a problem eating so much food and they rather wouldn't through up. it is most common for kids to through up at the festival mostly because they eat and then run around playing games. while they eat the usually take about how there year went and other stuff that happened during the year these festivals are also a good way to get information on whats going on in the town.
