The Caul Sector - The Cauldron

Nestled within the "mouth" of the Dog Head, The Caul Sector (or the Cauldron, by basically everyone) is a dense cluster of solar systems surrounding a natural fission creation storm. Every couple of centuries, new stars are spit from the center of the Cauldron, creating new solar systems ready to be exploited. As the galaxy ages, entropy and dark matter pushes the older systems to the edge. Often, these systems are forgotten by the Council the longer they exist and slowly burn out on their natural resources.

The Caul Sector is a galactic neutral zone, not owned by anyone but the centralized government in the Council.
