The Draconis Solar Nebula

The Draconis Solar Nebula is a collective of numerous planets, asteroids and numerous other astronomical bodies, all of which surround the Dragon Star of Indris. Legends say Indris was once a great Solar Dragon, a creature of such unimaginable immensity in both size and power that it was feared and respected across numerous galaxies and dimensions before curling itself into the Dragon Star that feeds the life of the nebula today.   Orbiting Indris are several unique cosmic bodies: the planets Ember Reach, Nefiril, Oziron, The Ash Nexus, Edura, Taius, Regulis and the distant, tiny Aleya. Between the orbits of Edura and Taius lies an asteroid belt that divides the inner and outer nebula known as The Gemshatter Ribbon. The space between these entities is known as the Etherium, an unbreathable emptiness. The Etherium is populated only The Light, a cosmic power that many of the inhabitants of the nebula use to power Ethercraft, vehicles designed to traverse the space between the worlds.   The creatures of the Nebula have access to a bendable reality, resulting from the cosmic energy contained within the Dragon Star. All the planets bathed in the light of Indris have developed unique magical properties and the races who live there have learned with some effort to harness the power of the the Light of Indris, often referred to simply as the Light. From the humans of Taius to the Wildlings of Edura, the Light has driven the way societies develop. The Light has decided the victors and victims of wars. And the Light has given rise to innumerable stories.
