Tails: Kitsune are most well known for their tails. With age, kitsune can grow as many as nine tails. It is believed that these tails grow with power and wisdom, however, it is likely that they simply grow with age.
 
Fur: In fox form, kitsune are covered in thick, lush fur. In humanoid form, this fur only covers their ears and tails. This fur is typically orange, with black around the legs and eartips, with white at the end of the tail. Pelts are highly prized by furriers.

Reproduction: Kitsune reproduce sexually, typically having one to two children at a time.
 
Gestation Period: The gestation period of kitsune typically range from sixty-seven to one hundred and twenty-three days.
