Human
A few million years before the present day, some sebrebella rogues and a medium-sized sebrebella landed on a large object in a large swarm of icy bodies encasing a small, white star.
Circling this star was a mid-sized ocean planet. The sebrebella studied the life on this planet and used that knowledge to create a species that they could hunt on that planet. The species was designed to resemble a few other species. That way, if this species would ever become self-aware they wouldn't realize their extra-terrestrial origin and true purpose.
Fast forward to some 150,000 years after their creation, these creatures began to call themselves "humans." They began to name other objects and things, and then began studying the world around them and eventually the universe. Finally, these "humans" achieved interstellar travel and began colonizing the universe.
