The Dual kingdoms of Ignis and Arktis

On the two plains either side of a mountain range lay two kingdoms crippled after a decade of war. to the North the frost elves of Vuk-el rule the human kingdoms, hailed as saviours after the defeat of the sun-king many (human) generations ago. to the south the fire dwarves rule from Cragstone keep with an iron fist, having appeared from beyond the yonderlands only shortly before conquering the southern tribes and declaring war on the north, in order to gain control of their (at the time) abundant resources. Both kingdoms now stuck in a stalemate due to the economic and military damage caused by the war, tensions are reaching an all time high as both kingdoms await the other to attack.
