Introduction

Sephira Kneicht stands as a pivotal figure within The Earth Chronicles III, embodying resilience amidst adversity. Born of elvish lineage, Sephira's physical appearance belies her heritage, save for the telltale sign of her genetic anomaly, the "Genesis of Alexandria." Her violet eyes marked her as an outcast from the moment of her birth. Growing up in a destitute town, Sephira endured relentless cruelty and neglect at the hands of both family and peers, mainly from a former lover. Despite the anguish inflicted upon her, Sephira's spirit remained unbroken.

When the war between the Holy Thermydorian Empire and the United Liberty Front Rebellion broke out, Sephira's home was the recipient to collateral damage done by both warring parties. The denizens desired no part in it, and begged the Empire to leave them alone, however the general response was of ignorance and disregard. Around the time Thenchi Blackrock launched his campaign to establish his Red Sun Allegiance brigade, Sephira's town became a battleground for the Empire and the Rebellion. As a building was about to collapse atop Sephira, she was saved by none other than Thenchi himself. The brave and courageous act was imprinted onto Thenchi, and Sephira would see him as his savior. After Thenchi and his brigade cleared the area of Empire and Rebellion forces, Sephira found herself following Thenchi like a lost child. Thenchi notices this but is indifferent by her approach, but then Sephira says she wants to show her thanks for saving her life. Thenchi senses a unique aura in her, something he's never felt before, mainly noticing her particularly fuchsia colored eyes. Curious by this, Thenchi welcomes Sephira into the Red Sun Allegiance, and she follows the rest of the new recruits onto their carrier vessel back to Cradle G-13.
Upon arriving at the hangar in the Cradle, the brigade members hail Thenchi's return and welcoming the new recruits into the Red Sun Allegiance. As Thenchi walked towards his quarters, he's closely being followed by Sephira, and soon after are met with Jacob and Kiroy. Thenchi introduces Sephira to his confidantes, and Kiroy immediately points out Sephira's distinctive eyes. Sephira then confides that she was born with a genetic mutation called "Alexandra's Genesis", which promptly gives her unique physical characteristics.
