The Light

"The Light" is the abstract concept of the divine and sacred, the guiding hand to a holy afterlife. The Light is the fundamental and principal idea of the Church of Light. It was first established by Fordring Thermydor, who along with his brother Azriel and their expedition, found a great stone tablet hidden inside a cave atop Mount Farpeak. The tablet, later dubbed as the Earth Chronicles, foretold the prophecy of a mortal who will rise from the crowds of mortals to ascend into the Light and vanquish the evil that looms in the shadows of the world. Fordring and his group became enligthened by the presence of the stone tablets, and collectively decided to extract the tablets and carry them home for everyone to see.
The Light is the carrying force behind Mana of Light, or Light Mana, manifested by one's faith in themselves and the Elder Gods. However, only those who hold a true good heart are able to manifest the Light after being blessed by the Elder Gods.
