After the war, the entire populace of Genova was rounded up and branded, forever marked for their role in what is considered the most despicable war in history. Following this, lords from the Imperial Mainlands were set in place in Genova to moniter the population and further keep up the branding, marking every newborn boy and girl born in the country so they will carry their nation's shame.

History

When Goa rose their flags in rebellion to signify the start of the Mad Queen's War, the country of Genova stood with their southern allies. As such, when the united forces of Dramyr were eventually defeated, Genova, for turning on their own from the motherland, were sentenced to forever be separated and distinguishable from their northern brethren.

Cultural Reception

Those branded with the mark of the traitor can never step foot in Northern Symphia's lands, except on rare diplomatic occasions and worldwide are met with hatred and disgust for their people's role in the war.
