The Fallen Star

The Fallen Star is a wreak. The only remaining part is a broken and battered fusalage of this exploration vessel, a slim, almost tubular shaped struture that has plunged directly into the ground. The ship was exploring the heavily forested area of the planet Limero, when an accident caused the ship to fail, crashing from space. There were no survivors.   The fusalage has become a refuge for people who explore the forest. The forest itself is full of very aggressive wildlife. Humankind is far from the apex predator in this ecosystem. Thus, finding the Fallen Star is a lifeline to people traveling or even worse, lost in the forest.   The entrance to the Fallen Star is a top hatch that would normally be used to easily access the exterior of the craft. It has several stories of rooms with rope and log ladders that previous vistitors have made to accend into the depths of the ship. The door still opens and closes on manual. There is no power. The very top of the fusalage had bent, evectively sealing it off and providing a roof.    Small creatures and insects can still enter the structure and explorers often have to clear them out or decide to live with them while they are taking shelter from the wilds. There is a make-shift logbook that is left behind by the visitors. It's a datapad that is left in a conspicuous position on one of the desks that is fixed along the wall of the a room on the second floor. Upon opening the logbook, people are greated with the text, "Hello! Welcome to the Fallen Star, our home away from home! I hope you still have all of your fingers so that you can tell us your story, just as the others before you have told theirs!" Reading the various entries, people can learn about how the others before them got to the Star, where they were going, what their condition is.

You did a really good job creating a vivid description of the Fallen Star in only a couple of paragraphs. Bravo. It feels like a creepy place to stay, but it also sounds like the forest is far worse. Would love to hear the stories of those who have come and gone from the Fallen Star.
