Flaming Familiar
You temporarily summon a flaming familiar - a spirit that takes an animal form of your choice. The familiar uses the same rules and options for a familiar conjured by the Summon Familiar spell. If you already have a familiar conjured by the Summon Familiar spell or similar means, then the spell automatically fails.
Flaming familiars are similar in appearance to regular familiars however appear wreathed in spectural flames of a colour related to the element you choose when you cast the spell. Choose from ethier fire, frost, lightning or acid. As an action on your turn you can command a flaming familiar to explode, on doing so the flaming familiar will drop to 0 hit points and explode, dealing elemental damage of the chosen type in a 10-foot radius. Each creature in the radius must make a Dexterity saving throw. A target takes 4d6 damage on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
Familiars summoned by this spell can telepathically communicate with you and share their visual or auditory senses while they are within 1 mile of you.
When you cast a spell with a range of touch, one of the familiars conjured by this spell can deliver the spell, as normal. However, you can cast a touch spell through only one familiar per turn.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, you conjure an additional flaming familiar for each slot level above 3rd. These famaliars need not be of the same elemental type.
