A mobile invisible barrier of magical force appears and protects you. Until the start of your next turn, you have a +5 bonus to AC, including against the triggering attack, and you take no damage from (non concentration) direct ranged spell attacks aimed at you, so long as they do not supass the level you cast this spell at. This spell will not, however, block the effects of any charming or frightening direct spell attacks, concentration spells or prevent area of effect damage.
At Higher Levels: When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the level of direct ranged spell attacks you can block rises correspondingly. Up to a maximum of 5th level spells.
