Emperor Nero (a.k.a. Mallith Unz)

Emperor Nero was one of the first in power to search diligently for The Nether. But he soon realized its power was far beyond his comprehension. He soon learned that Nether was synonymous with death, leading him to murder his mother. While her death was not enough, his proximity to such a brutal demise granted him the talent of song. Through subsequent murders, he expanded his empire, garnered the support of the Romans and created his ideal home. Once his plan to burn Rome to the ground came about, his servants concluded that his conquest for the Nether had gone too far. The slaughter of Christians and his deteriorating mental state also stemmed from his craving for the element, driving him to believe everyone wanted to kill him.

Too cowardly to commit suicide, he forced his bodyguard to kill him and was revived as Mallith Unz. He now has the lower body of a stallion, which function like an arachnid. From the waist up, he has the appearance of a chubby songbird with feathers wreathed in flame. When he is summoned, his piercing chirp sings of the opponent's demise. From breathing fire as hot as the sun to trampling one to death with its powerful equine legs, Nero has become an artist of murder for the sake of Achlys.
