A select group of Elysians battle it out as toys in a Halloween Special event.

Whether through a strange ritual of Samhain or the collective dream of both heroes and villains in the Elysium Archipelago, a select few found themselves transformed into toy versions of themselves. Among the party were Trevor, Sol, Snowy, Gwen, Bojmolf, Emeric, Sesshomaru, Akiyo and Hybris himself. Although each of them awoke in different parts of the massive toy store, they were drawn to one another through their energies alone. Trevor and Emeric immediatelty began to rally their toy soldiers in an effort to take an early offensive while the others fought through possessed toys that were beginning to come alive along with them. What came shortly after their awakening, however, was much worse than they could imagine.     A Shoggoth toy, malformed and melted plastic mound of burned dolls, had emerged from one of the aisles. It absorbed other toys who didn't have the strength or knowhow to avoid its horrific presence. Soon enough, it became a flaming mound of horrid toy parts that caught the attention of all the toy Elysians. Flaming doll globs were launched in every direction, some even striking fire extinguishers to shatter some of the heroes. Meanwhile, Hybris awakened near an alcoholic cooler and found himself the only person among them that the Shoggoth was subservient to. With a can of Pabst Blue Ribbon lugged over his shoulder, he rode one of the Shoggoth beasts while watching the others struggle with the playtime monster horde. This led to massive casualties and a rescue mission to get Snowy out of harm's way, credited to Sol.      Gwen, Bojmolf, Trevor and Hybris were soon all that remained. Once the heroes were able to put the cult leader in their sights, he was overwhelmed by waves of acid web and celestial bolts, to which he parried with his somewhat full beer can. Knocked into one of the cashier aisles, he had an additional hole in his manufactured backside and a growing grudge. Hybris grabbed a Twix bar and used it to knock away Trevor's incoming volley of cherry bombs, courtesy of his remote controlled helicopter. While Gwen and Bojmolf were able to last near the end, it would be Trevor who took advantage of the Twix bar shattering upon impact of his barrage and blinding him with nougat and caramel. Trevor used this window of opportunity to fire a final barrage and end Toy Hybris with a bullet right between the eyes.     No one knows if the mysterious Toy Store Dimension will drag the Elysians back in for another battle for their lives or if this is but a small step in something unseen and malevolent. But their mess, as well as their battle, was legendary.
