First Destruction of the Moon

Powerful Esper Tetsuo Shima fights Sinister Maharana, blows up the Obelisk Obscura and destroys the moon.

Since the heroes established themselves in Apollo City, anomalies began to appear around the Archipelago called Nether Wells. Although both sides had their own theories about what caused them, normally involving pointing the finger at one another, no one truly knew what was causing them. However, their sudden and rapid appearance brought more reinforcements to the heroes of Apollo City, increasing the number of clashes that occurred between them and the growing evil within the region. The culmination of those clashes resulted in Sinister Mahara's first death, his resurrection and the brief glimpse of The Wilderness, the dimension where his true body rests.   However, it was Tetsuo Shima, a Powerful Esper and former citizen of Japan, who pushed Sinister to the brink. The youth arrived in the Archipelago claiming to know exactly who Sinister is and took full advantage of his weakened psychological state, pummeling him with psychic attacks. All the while, he divulged that Sinister was a primordial being from a hidden part of Greek Mythology and that his name was actually Yaedah. This revelation infuriated Sinister but Tetsuo pushed on, even going so far as to critically injure Sinister by impaling him through the moon with his own Obelisk.   This resulted in fragments of the moon raining down, not only toward the Arch but across the entire planet. It was the first sign to the heroes that Sinister's emergence was a global threat and everyone banded together from the valiant to the anti-heroes to protect the planet from being destroyed. Although they were successful in their efforts, Sinister retaliated against Tetsuo by murdering him in the depths of the Tethys Lagoon and retreated back into the shadows.
