Drug Kingpin Ivory attempts to escape Apollo City only to be apprehended by the APD and assisting heroes.

Following the Haunting at the Monster Mash Cinema, Spider-Gwen received information that Ivory was going to meet with the Argento Family at a Chinese restaurant in Old Town. Sending in her spider drone to record the secrete meeting between the two crime organizations, she discovered that there was some misunderstanding about who was trying to take over who's drug turf. While Francis believed that Ivory's recent connection to werewolves in Old Town was leading to the deaths of his drug runners, Ivory was starting to suspect that this drug family wanted to find an excuse to extort him out of both his money and his supply of Stars capsules. The argument and insults continued until Gwen's spider drone was discovered by Ivory, climbing along the restaurant wall to get a better angle.     Almost immediately, Francis accused Ivory of setting up the drone to spy on them, even suspecting that he was working with the APD to take them out. Ivory took incredible offense to this and, in the midst of their fiery argument, he realized that the girl he had met at Starbucks just weeks prior had a spider-themed superhero identity. Putting two and two together, and realizing that she was nearly everywhere he had been, he told Francis that the superheroes were spying on them. Not more than a few minutes later, Gwen, in her struggle to download the information she recorded on the drone, was faced with the brutal assault of Silverfang, a giant mobster shark. Tossed through the restaurant wall after a short battle, Silverfang, and the mysterious suited third-party gangsters in the back of the restaurant, emerged to tell Francis that, for all intents and purposes, he would no longer be the top dog. When Francis violently objected, shooting at Silverfang, he was murdered.     During the mob takeover, Ivory held Gwen at gunpoint, frustrated that she couldn't see the good that he was doing and accusing her of working with both the mayor and the APD to bring him down. She called him out for being a hypocrite, selling drugs to innocents while proclaiming to want to save the city, telling him that there are better ways to initiate change and root out corruption. Both sides talked but didn't listen too much, leaving Silverfang to make a quick deal with Ivory to end the mob quarreling for the time being. Before Ivory could leave, Gwen blocked the path to his car in the building's alleyway, leading to a more conflicted and emotional version of their conversation inside. With his gun now in the Spider-Woman's hands, aimed at his skull, he gave her the option of either trusting him or ending him there and then. Relying on her moral conscience, she returned the gun to him and he gave her his phone number so that they could have a less tense conversation about potentially working together for the greater good.     Ivory then moved to the Gold Buck Casino in the Bloody Clover's neighborhood after discovering that everyone was conspiring against him in Apollo City, wanting his supposed reign of terror to end. After paying off Bloody Clover leader Rory Doyle to law low in one of his casino hotels, he was soon discovered by up and coming vampire boss, Rhodes, the same woman who Ivory had met at a pizza establishment she herself owned. Aside from a short stint of sexual frustration realized by both ends, Rhodes had no trouble at all getting Rory to lead her to Ivory's room. Ivory wasn't completely shocked that she found him, given that one of the Heavyblood generals of the Nosferatu Boys, Constantin, had met with Rhodes just a week before about potentially nabbing him for a chance to rise to the top of the gang food chain. Additionally, he told Rhodes that he knew that the mayor had sent APD to Old Town in a bid to get the vampires involved in hunting him down after he sent the mayor a video hinting at the disappearance of a handful of APD Black Shields, including Reese McGowan.     After a brief confirmation, Rhodes offered Ivory to be taking in or to be bitten, taking advantage of Ivory's indecisive stance to try and hook her fangs into his neck. But this triggered a violent outburst from the albino drug lord and was the first public reveal of his inhuman capabilities, shoving Rhodes clear across the hotel room and through the bathroom wall. He tried to play if off as nerves but Rhodes was no fool, stating that he was just like the rest of the monsters in Old Town and staring him down with a much more determined consideration of her first choice of apprehension. Ivory, however, was determined to make sure his plans succeeded, to the point where he burst through the 4th story hotel window and vanished in a plume of smoke with his two brutes. This ramped up APD presence in Old Town considerably, letting them know that the noose was growing ever-tighter around Ivory's neck.     At the APD precinct, ex-mayor Augustus Griffith and Director Jesse Faden met with TOU Lieutenant Elijah Maxwell, who informed them that the APD was starting to scrutinize the vigilantism that was happening in Apollo City, including Augustus' involvement with the murder on Clive & Koontz. Reassuring the lieutenant that he would always act within the law wherever it was needed, the lieutenant then informed them both that they could act as outside assistance to the APD for an upcoming capture they hoped to initiate with Ivory. Lieutenant Maxwell received intel that Ivory was planning to take the outer road of the city, known as Old Kingdom Road, straight to the shoreline and take a boat to Silverside. There, he would not only be under the protection of the island's goddess, Soteria, but no one would be able to intercept his criminal activity, leaving him free to control Apollo City from an untouchable position and potentially stoking the flames of gang warfare to further cripple the city's defenses. Augustus and Faden were given procedural contracts to sign before being released, trusted with information that could lead to Ivory's arrest.     Just days before the rumored escape attempt, Ivory met with Gwen at a closed parking garage in Old Town. He set a timer for their meeting due to the APD making regular rounds in even the most desolate, empty parts of Old Town, in hopes of capturing him early. Ivory and Gwen spoke more about the APD corruption, of how the mayor was someone who needed to be taken down and how he was working on something that would not only change Apollo City but the entire world. When Gwen inquired as to why he hated the mayor so much, Ivory lost his temper and revealed yet another hint at his inhuman nature. Summoning her Grookey by her side, while secretly activating a recording device in her pocket, Gwen pressed for him to tell the truth of what exactly is going on before he tried to leave the city for good. Whether Ivory caught on to her plan or if he was simply too done with the conversation to care, he only told Gwen that she should talk to Jessica Dubois, the current Supreme of the APD, if she wants any chance of rooting out the corruption in the city in a "positive" way, leaving soon after.     On the day of his escape attempt, Ivory went through a brief overview with his two grunts about what they would do and how it would only take an hour max to get out of the city as long as they went unseen. Loading up into two black SUVs and Ivory's trademark Chevy Impala, the pale youth ran into a zombie that represented the Children of the Grave. He begged Ivory for a bit of money but soon turned into a violent haggler the moment Ivory offered him five dollars. Demanding more and insisting that Ivory had more money to give, the commotion became too much for the drug lord, frustrating him to the point of shooting the zombie in the head. The gunshot alerted nearby APD officers, forcing him to hop into his car and drive off with the vans of his grunts in front and behind him. APD Officers communicated throughout the city that Operation White Rabbit had commenced, summoning the outside assistance of Gwen, Sakuya, Director Faden, Colonel Shaprakh, Rhodes, The Watchdogs and Commander Hannah to join in on the hunt.     APD Black Shields were successful in forcing one of the black SUVs in the criminal convoy to stop but incidentally revealed the true identity of Ivory's brutish grunts as mutagenic monsters called Shivas. Initially crack babies who acclimated to Stars differently than the general populous, they spurned the secondary mutations of Polymelia and Polycephaly. This gave them four additional arms resembling the Indian god Shiva and a smaller, secondary head on their shoulder than can emit supersonic screams destructive enough to shatter concrete. This Shiva, Shiva Two, used his supersonic blast to annihilate the eardrums of the nearby White Shield officers while hurling his SUV, which was rigged to explode should the convoy be apprehended, at the Black Shields, resulting in several deaths and critical injury. Shiva Two then used this as a distraction before leaping off to chase down Ivory's convoy and provide assistance. Shiva One, trailing ahead of Ivory's vehicle, managed to get to the triple bridge crossing that would lead out of the city on 79th and Turner where an APD patrol car tried to stop the SUV using the PIT maneuver. This, however, backfired as Shiva One was able to spin his SUV back into position and ram into the officer's car, crushing him inside upon impact. It was by Colonel Shaprakh's commandos' bullets that Shiva One's tires were blown out, leaving him to try and destroy the three bridges so that ground units would be unable to tail Ivory out of the city.     While Ivory raced toward Walker Street, the last street before Old Kingdom Road, Rhodes was tailing behind on her motorcycle, shooting at his Impala in the hopes that one would hit his tire or at least force him to swerve off the road. Meanwhile, Mayor Katrina Masters, after a rambunctious night with a well-fed, bubble butt youkai, set out to help save the city from Ivory's plans. Director Faden had encountered Shiva One on the Turner Bridges, attempting to stop both Shivas by ramming her car into Shiva One and hurling javelins made out of bridge debris at Shiva Two, who was throwing chunks of building at the pursuing heroes. Sakuya, oddly enough, was not one of them, for she had incited chaos by attacking the Black Shields who were recovering from Shiva Two's attack near Old Town, encouraging officers to communicate that all metahumans were actually trying to help Ivory escape and that lethal force was authorized if they impeded police. In moments, Black Shields officers started a proxy war with Sakuya, pitting her magic against their firepower in a battle that, ultimately, went to the supernatural maid with the help of her trusty knives. The snipers that worked to try and take out the metahumans on the Black Shields' command were handily killed and scared away by the intervention of one Khaathess Ennix.     Shiva Two was handily taken out thanks to the combined efforts of Director Faden's telekinetic javelins, Colonel Shaprakh's commandos severing the monster's legs from their waist and Mayor Masters' Thundering Lotus, followed by a swift evisceration from her trusted katana. Shiva One sensed the death of Shiva Two and went on a rampage, deciding to hurl chunks of the bridge, along with the civilians, across the city to cause as much distraction and damage as possible so that Ivory could get away. Although partially successful, his efforts at destroying a major part of the city was halted due to Director Faden using her telekinetic skills to herd civilians to safety and hurl a chunk of her destroyed vehicle at him, knocking him clear off the wrecked bridge and into the deep waters of the river below. Mayor Masters had also utilized her superhuman capabilities to "parry" the tidal wave of concreter and rebar, nullifying its kinetic energy and saving the city from billions of dollars of collateral damage, not to mention countless lives, thus placing her even higher in public opinion of Apollo, to Ivory's chagrin.     Tailed by Rhodes, Commander Shaprakh, and Gwen, Ivory's Impala was suddenly stopped by Commander Shaprakh's explosive bullet destroying the road in front of him and Commander Hannah's well-placed shot at his engine block from a helicopter above. The explosive reaction forced Ivory to literally rip his way out of the vehicle's roof and force Rhodes to hurl her motorcycle after Ivory, who was now running on foot at an inhuman pace. Making it to Old Kingdom Road with Rhodes' motorcycle smashing against his back, Shaprakh's quills slowing him down and a barricade of APD officers blocking Ivory from escaping the road, Ivory was forced to reveal his identity as a descendant of Savage Ken Masters. However, his brief transformation into a fascimile of the infamous murderer to destroy the barricade of APD officers was only possible thanks to his previous ingestion of a multitude of Stars capsules. Furthermore, after his transformation, severe blindness and sensitivity to the sun, which was not apparent before, had further weakened him as he tried to jog down the road and make it out. Thankfully, Gwen's slingshot across the city to slam against Ivory and pin him to the ground, assisted by Rhodes sinking claws and Shaprakh's threat of gunfire, was enough to detain Ivory long enough for APD helicopters to arrest the menace.     TOU Elijah Maxwell informed the heroes who helped capture him that they would be fined 10,000 Kelos and be forced to do community service, at minimum, for the damage they wrought to the city and the deaths of multiple APD officers while the mayor decided on an appropriate punishment for them. Additionally, Sakuya had been placed on the most wanted list, to be taken in dead or alive for the murder of multiple Black Shield officers. The Hunt for the White Rabbit was a success but at a great cost.
