Yujiro Hanma enters the Arch, Elijah Maxwell rallies the Pro Human Alliance, Psycho Cyber plants seeds of doubt, and Sinister begins the Dojo dungeon!

When a man named Yujiro Hanma arrived in Apollo City, the only thing he was looking for was a good fight. This led to him encountering the android Hidalgo and a strange meeting with a group of college students. The students were given cybernetic injections, which were advertised on the dark web forums as a cure-all for sleep deprivation, eating disorders, physical ailments, and memory issues. Though two of the college students accepted the injection, one of them relented and demanded that they go to the police. Yujiro interrupted and allowed for the students to flee while Hidalgo was challenged to a fight, informed that he was pathetic for relying on cybernetic enhancements just to provide a challenge. Wanting to keep a low profile and wary of Yujiro's immense aura, Hidalgo informs him that there are even greater fighters available for him. He provokes him into visiting the local Denny's so that he can fight Mayor Katrina, believing that this will also eliminate the head of the city and open up a vacuum for Psycho Cyber to more easily take over. However, although the battle at Denny's was brutal, and the toilet was rendered inoperable for a matter of weeks, Yujiro and Mayor Katrina ended up becoming allies. However, this was not the end of Yujiro's hunt for a challenge.     In the midst of the Battle at Denny's, convicted murderer and former APD Lieutenant Elijah Maxwell felt Yujiro's energy. He believed that he could have been mistaken as a Prime Human with the kind of power that flowed through his mortal body, even going so far as to meditate and lure Yujiro to the Tartarus Prison by emitting his own energy. The next night, Yujiro arrived at Tartarus Prison, demanding to speak with Maxwell. He was met by the elite squad of correctional officers called The Ferrymen, specifically their captain Lazlo Branford, and was initially rebutted. However, once his relationship with the mayor was revealed, Captain Branford and the Ferrymen accompanied Yujiro to meet Maxwell in the high-security underground Penthus Hall. However, upon meeting Maxwell, Yujiro expressed his desire to release Maxwell from prison, resulting in a fight with the Ferrymen. This resulted not only in the suspicion of other authority figures in Apollo City utilizing the Dolos Serum for an edge against criminals but also the underwater escape of both Yujiro and Maxwell.   Afterwards, the two went on their own separate journeys. Maxwell visited Keith Marshall at his apartment to reinforce the fact that, without him, the APD, and in turn the city, will fall into utter chaos. He then visited Mayor Katrina, hoping that he would have enough weight to swing his way back into a position of authority to save the city. However, the mayor refused, stating that Apollo City is fine the way it was and sending him away to try and rally the anti-meta group under the umbrella of the Pro Human Alliance. Yujiro, meanwhile, broke into the APD jail to release Sakuya and Gwen, initiating a trail of damage and destruction that only furthered the divide between Metas and humans in Apollo. With Psycho Cyber slowly infecting the youth with a secret "upgrade", Sinister plotting to change the Arch forever with the Dojo Dungeon, and Maxwell preparing for a monumental comeback, time will only tell if heroism is truly dead.
