A clash between Sinister and Veritate creates a phantom version of the Japanese islands with a twist.

In the midst of planning the expansion of his cult and the invasion of other dimensions, Sinister Maharana was interrupted by the powerful disturbances of celestial giant Veritate. Upon investigation, he saw that she was channeling powers far beyond his own and he believed that she was seeking to summon the Pantheon in all their glory, having known only them to have such fluctuations of energy. Fearful of his mission being ended prematurely and infuriated at yet another could-be god trying to meddle in his affairs, Sinister threw himself at Veritate with all the power he could muster in an attempt to stop her. However, this only created a disruption of dimensions and the creation of the Japan he believed Ken had long since destroyed. The violent flurry of power covered the entire Archipelago and drained nearly all of the Tethys Lagoon in exchange for a void that seemed to extend to the depths of the planet itself.   Though many have interacted and investigated with the new islands of Ghost Japan, as well as its citizens who were pulled from alternate dimensions, there has yet to be any word on what the endgame of these mysterious dwellings could be...
