The steward of the BRETHE lands, Arrad is not a knight but has held his post for nearly twenty years with the blessings of Ser Degdil and his wife. This merits attention only insomuch as ARRAD is a known yet illegitimate son of the late SER DEGDIL. He received a clerk's education and came to the attention of the family afterwards. While often considered part of the family, ARRAD did not receive legal recognition from his father and cannot inherit or vote in family matters.
