The renowned Sera Cen Akina, Raven-Knight Sororitae, and tournament champion is a household name amongst knights and nobles. A sister-dedicant of the Raven Circle she is surprisingly known to be fairly reckless, hot-headed and stiff-necked amongst polite company. Sera Cen is not related to any blooded family in Rhone or anywhere else. She was a commoner before being given a chance to elevate herself through squiring and succeeding at the trials to enter the Raven Circle sororitas. She has won numerous tournaments and championships over the past decade including the Golden Leaf at Between-The-Waters entrants tournament in 50 ET.

Since she first drew a blade, the tales are said to have begun. She has spent more time chasing monsters and horrors than most individuals at her age. Those who know her from the Circle hint that she has slain wyverns, fey Beasts, malataurs, the unliving and never-born; all manner of dark things that have crawled out from the past to assail good people. Some of her known exploits include single-handedly liberating Edinos from the ravages of a Werebear that had taken over two dozen lives in a single week, slaying the entire Redthorn(organization) brigand gang, and defeating a strange tentacled thing that stalked the shores of Lake Noras in the north.

She always displays decorum when not overcome by her temper or impatience; some would say she has become quite practiced at apologies. The gossip of women has it differently. That she was driven to the Circle by unceasing admirers and such foppishness still infuriates her to this day. Of course, the serving-women are always speculating about the identity of her secret lover--despite the complete lack of evidence of any such person.

Personal history

Sera Akina came to the attention of the Raven Circle around her 11th birthday although details are sketchy and subject to dramatic retellings. She spent two years in Ravenscrag Keep learning the basics of education and combat as she was a commoner by birth. It was during this period that her talent was recognized by all. She was squired earlier than most and deemed ready to be knighted by the time she was seventeen years old. Since that time, Sera Cen Akina has become a hero and champion; her name is even known in the Midlands.

All information indicates that she is a devout follower of the Aenari faith as most Raven-Knights. But, as always, the curtain of ignorance behind which the Ravens maintain all of their protocols and prayers makes any such determination faulty.
