The Anurach Desert

The sprawling dunes stretch on for miles, with whirling sand storms passing through the area, constantly changing the landscape. Small secluded oasis exist within the desert, for those with the knowledge on how to find them.

(Fact) The desert is very inhospitable to those not accustomed to its harshness.
(Fact) Rare oasis provide fresh, cool water for those in need. Food can also be found in places most are unaccustomed to searching.

Geography

The area is mostly rolling dunes, although there are some areas that have revealed valleys cut deep into stone. There are also rare oasis scattered throughout the desert, where what little water that does rain down collects.

Fauna & Flora

Cactus are the only primary plants that grow within the desert, as well as the occasional shrub that can take root. Many various insects find their homes within the harsh lands.
