The Leyline of Shapeshift

In a small clearing, deep within The Great Brookwood Forest lies the Leyline of Shapeshift. Most who happenstance upon the leyline itself might not even be aware of what they found!

A single ancient tree stands vigil in this solitary place. Each morning at dawn, it becomes another. And then another the next. Never is it the same type of tree two days in a row. One day, it bares fruit, for the inhabitants to enjoy. The next? None but beautify flowers for all to witness. This mysterious monument contains much of the same power it did the very day it of its birth: In the beginning of the era itself.

Purpose / Function

This leyline possesses a strong tie to the Word of Power: Shapeshift. Those with the divinity find that they may perform miracles of the Word, while those already attuned to the Word find their ability to use them strengthened. Other creatures find themselves drawn to such a place, especially those who can change their form or shape.

History

At the beginning of the era, when the world was created, it was said that a divine figure used their great powers to bind this power to the world. The divine then shaped it to their will, and it blossomed from the seed of life they granted it.
