Alain Hackonson
King (1029 - 1073) Alain Hackonson
King Alain's rule was defined by his war against Sharock Kan and his "Freemen". Though Alain won the war, he did not attain this victory unscathed.
King Alain was captured in 1032 ABA by the Freemen. He is kept a prisoner for almost a year until released by a member of Kan's Freemen who had fallen in love with the King. When the king returned unexpectedly, he was a changed man and would not speak of his time in captivity. When Kan was apprehended in 1034 ABA the lords and ladies of the realm where left in shock when the King ordered Kan to be taken to The Shard and not executed.
In 1071 ABA, two years before his death, he visited The Shard one more time and visited Kan in his cells. No one knows what was said during this meeting as the King never spoke of this final interaction.
