Heroes

"Heroes" are people who have existed throughout history and have been exalted to God like status. As to show their ranking beneath The One "Heroes" are worshipped and praised under the true god as prophets and champions of The One.

Appointment

Heroes can only be made by the highest ranking of the Church of the Five along side agreement from The Entherian Summit. Prior to the expansion of the church outside of Enther, this decision was originally made by just the High Herald and his closest advisors.

Notable Holders

The five original Heroes are the Five Heroes present in The Word Of The Five. These Heroes performed miraculous feats and defeated the tyrannical Ancient Entherians.

• Matheus - First King of Enther and Hero. He symbolises strength, bravery and loyalty. He is the most worshiped of the Heroes and is named the Herald of The One. He is primarily worshiped by warriors, knights and other brave people of Enther.
• Andrea - First Queen of Enther and Hero. She symbolises love, fertility and the arts. Her likeness is often used in religious art which is inspired by the virtues she represents. She is primarily revered by artists, musicians, mothers and women of Enther.
• Sabine - First Prime Minister of Enther and Hero. He symbolises knowledge, truth and law. He is revered primarily by scholars and intelects.
• Merida - Hero of Enther. after the The War for Aigea. She symbolises agriculture, hunting, fealty and humbleness. Merida declined and royalities or titles. She asked only for her homeland, and became the first Great Lord of Norshire. She is primarily revered by farmers, hunters and pockets of the clergy.
• Rosier - First Grand Enchanter of Enther and Hero. Symbolises the arcane, sin and death. He is worship is limited due to his betrayal of Matheus, but he is still held in high regards by Magic Users in Enther.

Other notable Heroes acknowledged by the Church of the Five include:

• Princess Boudicca - Adventurer who sailed over Aigea, discovering new places and unknown countries, spreading the word of The One throughout Aigea. She is primarily revered by sailors, adventurers and pirates
• King Duncan the Kind - The legendary  King of Enther who brought in the Peace Age.

Few since have been elevated to Hero status, and no one has ever been elevated during their life.
