Personal history

Born to the then Prince Anders Hackonson and his wife, Princess Mathilda. Reginald was the first born son of the heir and thus making him second in line to the throne. His birth was considered peculiar as the pregnancy of Princess Mathilda was not announced. The unanticipated birth left the lords and ladies of the Kingdom confused.
Upon the controversial death of King Dorian, Prince Anders ascended as king. By the time Reginald turns 16 he begins to take up responsibilities along side his father and takes a seat on the Royal Council. At 17, Reginald was "gifted" the Pit. This would act as a fighting ground for warriors to prove their valour, though Reginald would often throw cruel competitions which large prizes to abuse the poor and the desperate. 
After his father's death in 689 ABA, the newly crowned King Reginald ascended the throne. Reginald from the start was not a well loved King. Rumours of his birth had been whispered in the kingdom since his birth and his appetite for cruelness was well documented. The nickname "The Bastard King" was muttered by common folk and nobles alike.

Reign

King Reginald reigned for 48 years until his assassination in 737 ABA. His reign is considered one of the most detrimental reigns with tensions between the crown and the commoners reaching an all time peak, boiling over into two rebellions, the latter resulting in his death.
