Personal history

The former Lord of Port Olive was a proud man and a veteran of many battles. He had served alongside King Regulus during the Battle of the Golden Crossing and had plans on sending his son to the Capital to train alongside Regulus's son, Prince Magnus. Unfortunately, Alvar showed little promise for his abilities with weapons. Salzar loathed his son due to his portly, soft stature and inability in battle, despite Alvar's constant desires to impress his father.
