The Final Battle at Mount Enther

Summary

According to Church of the Five's sacred text The Word Of The Five the final battle between Human/Fairfolk alliance and the Ancient Entherians took place in a one on one battle between the soon to be King Matheus, Hero of Enther and the leader of the Enthermen, The Enther King.
The word describes the battle as a final ditch effort between both sides to end the war and ascertain control. The forces of the Ancient Entherians had been severely reduced as many of the humans and fairfolk who had fought for the The Enther King had defected and many of the Entherites, the magicly infused descendants of the Ancient Entherians had been defeated in battle. However, the sheer strength of each individual Ancient Entherian still made the battle a momentos task to be able to accomplish.
At the base of Mount Enther, the alliance began to get the advantage, until The Enther King finally made his appearance on the battle field. with a handful of swift movements, the tide of the battle was quickly changed. In a last ditch effort to regain control of the battle, Rosier used his remaining magic to transport The Enther King and Matheus to the summit of the mountain.
No one saw the battle which took place above the clouds. all that is known is that Matheus returned, with the head of the Enther King under his arms. With the Enther King vanquished, the remaining sympathisers surrendered, and the remaining Ancient Entherians fled. Over the next few years, the Ancient Entherians and the Entherites would be hunted, but the moment Matheus presented the head of the dark king, the war was over.
