House of Heroes

The House of Heroes is a three-story temple complex located in the Sea Ward of Waterdeep, one of the largest and most prominent temples in the city devoted to Tempus, the Lord of Battles. The temple is situated at the corner of the Lions and Jelzar's Stride, across from the Field of Triumph, making it an easily recognizable landmark.
Upon entering the temple, visitors are greeted with a grand entrance hall featuring high ceilings, marble floors, and intricate carvings depicting famous battles and warriors. The temple's halls are adorned with name plates and visages honoring not only battle champions of the city but also winners of sports competitions, showcasing the city's dedication to physical prowess and strength.
The main sanctuary is a vast space filled with rows of wooden pews, a high altar, and stained glass windows depicting scenes of battle and victory. The walls are adorned with shields and swords, symbols of Tempus' power and influence.
The House of Heroes is not only a place of worship but also a center for the training of warriors and soldiers, with many young recruits seeking the blessing of Tempus before heading off to battle. The temple offers classes and training sessions for martial arts, weapons training, and combat tactics, ensuring that the city's warriors are always prepared for the next battle.
In addition to its martial focus, the House of Heroes also hosts festivals and cultural events throughout the year, celebrating the city's heroes and champions. It is a hub of activity and a place of great reverence and respect for the people of Waterdeep.
Overall, the House of Heroes is a magnificent testament to the city's martial prowess and serves as a center for spiritual and physical growth and development.
