You remember his name because of how you thought it was funny to say. When he arrived he had a look of sorrow on his face when he looked at you. What stuck in your mind was a pin on his cloak of a silver harp which sparkled in the candle light. Before they closed the door to your mother’s room, you witnessed him hand your mother a pouch and said something about they are hunting them down.
  2. After the night your father died, your mother became over protective of you. She tried to keep your mark hidden and always ignored your inquiries about it as you grew older.

  Valna's meditation journey:
As you retreat to your room with Alistair, you try to reflect on what has happened to you over the past few days. After waking up to nightmares the night before with a new sense your mom may have been right and everyone is on a fool’s errand to try to stop it on top of the change to the lock of your hair has you frighten. You sit down in the center of your room to try to meditate. Alistair comes by your side and lies down. It take a few minutes to clear you head as it swirls with thoughts of dread and thoughts of hope. The warmth of Alistair’s body helps you calm yourself and clears you mind.
You open your eyes and you are back in your favorite childhood playing spot in the woods. You watch as Alistair runs through the trees chasing a squirrel up a tree. You laugh as the squirrel squeaks in anger at Alistair from a tree branch above him. You feel at peace and joy begin to feel you heart. You watch as out of the woods steps a beautiful woman dressed in travelers clothing. You recognize her as Mielikki as she approaches you. She gives you a slight smile and say, ”Valna it has been a trying week for you. I know the burden on your soul and the difficult decisions you must make. I feel you have come to seek guidance from me as Alistair has told me what has happened. I must be neutral in the balance of things as there is light and dark in nature, but I can offer what your heart has desired. The three have crossed the bounds and I will allow this to help you find your balance. To help you with your difficult decisions you may ask him three questions.”
Mielikki steps a side and out behind the trees by Alistair your father, Reaghan Urthadar, appears. You cannot believe your eyes as tears begin to fill them. You run over to him and embrace him. You don’t want to let go as he just looks at you and says how sorry he is for letting you down. You look over to Mielikki and she smiles and waves as she slowly turns into a warm breeze flowing through the trees. Alistair watches wagging his tail as you finally compose yourself. You have a lot of questions but you ask your three. As Reaghan finishes his answer he gives you one last hug as he slowly begins to disappear. You open your eyes and feel you have regained your balance. To your surprise the lock of hair has slowly turned back to its normal color. You feel you are ready to take on Barley and resist the lure to the darkness.
  Valna's Dream Quest:
  1. Reaghan was a paladin in the High Order of Torm.
  2. The High Order of Torm was at your mother's elven village Syvani looking for the elven woman of the mark. When the elven elder refused to turn over the woman, an unknown paladin of the High Order of Torm gave your father the order to destroy the village and kill everyone.
  3. The High Order of Torm was looking for the woman because Torm had foretold the woman would be the downfall of his godhood. By killing everyone in the village it was thought the threat would be destroyed with everyone.
  4. Your mother escaped and turn to Shar in vengeance over her village being destroyed.
  5. You father left the High Order of Torm. He was haunted by the decision he made on the day to destroy the village. Your father turn to Tyr the Just god to see if he could find redemption of what he did.
  6. The day your father died he realized who your mother was.
  7. Your father thought by destroying Barley he could end the cycle and save what he loved the most. When he encountered Barley in the hut Barley used his compassion and guilt against him.
  8. Barley convinced your father to take his own life taunting him it would be the only way of saving his family and in the eyes of Reaghan's pathetic deity, Tyr, granting him redemption and salvation.
Victoro's letter:
  Eyria information:
Eyria tells you she has lost the concept of time but when she was a mortal, she was a paladin of Torm within the High Order of Torm. Her mentor was Lord Shane Flanagan. Lord Flanagan was a high ranking official of the High Order of Torm. Lord Flanagan taught her how to fight and how to be piteous. Things began to change when Lord Dmitri Aerihel arrived. Lord Aerihel gathered all the Lords of the High Order and told them he had received a vision from Torm. Torm told Lord Aerihel there will be a woman with the mark who will rise out of the darkness and destroy the world. The woman will speak with vile creatures and turn the soldiers of the light against themselves. This woman would possess the power to destroy gods and would use her twisted powers to strike down Torm. Lord Aerihel told the Lords there was one among their order who is protecting the woman. When High Lord Luke Glather asked who was the traitor was Lord Aerihel said it was Lady Shadowborn. Lord Aerihel stated Lady Shadowborn bore the sinful mark and she had recently inquired about a powerful artifact called Ebonbane. High Lord Glather had his doubts but much of the other Lords were swayed by Lord Aerihel’s words. Lord Flanagan tried to speak on behalf of Lady Shadowborn as he had worked with her in the past and knew for her to be honorful. Lord Aerihel told the Lords not to be swayed by the actions of Lady Shadowborn as she had the mark and all those who bore the marks could not be trusted. High Lord Glather told the Lords he would reserve his judgement and will try to reach out to Lady Shadowborn to answer the accusation against her.
The next day High Lord Glather found out Lady Shadowborn had requested Tso with the Monastic Order of the Fist to bring Ebonbane to her. The Monastic Order of the Fist was keeping Ebonbane in their vault ever since the Time of Trouble. High Lord Glather told the Lords he was going to her manor to get to the bottom of why Lady Shadowborn made the request. Lord Aerihel told High Lord Glather Lady Shadowborn will kill him as she is trying to free the sword for its master to protect the woman. High Lord Glather dismissed Lord Aerihel’s claims. Lord Flanagan tried to go with High Lord Glather but was denied. High Lord Glather set out to Lady Shadowborn’s manor.
Word came back High Lord Glather was struck down by Ebonbane and Lady Shadowborn’s manor disappeared with Ebonbane. Confusion spread among the Lords. Lord Aerihel address the Lords claiming what Torm told him is coming true unless they move to stop it. With the High Lord dead, the Lords quickly voted for Lord Aerihel to become the new High Lord. Now the new High Lord, Aerihel, ordered the Lords to refocus their paladins and made it a priority to find the woman.
Lord Flanagan disobeyed orders and went out to Shadowborn’s manor to see for himself. He returned different almost like a broken man. He once told me Lady Shadowborn haunted his dreams with her act of betrayal. Lord Flanagan became more bitter and withdrawn from his duties. When we received information about Darnag’s location Lord Flanagan refused to act upon the information. We had been tracking Darnag for over two years. When I pushed Lord Flanagan to take up his sword and we would fight him together he got angry. Lord Flanagan yelled at me telling me Darnag was no longer our focus and the woman was. I called him a coward for not statndng up for what is right and I still believe Lady Shadowborn had a reason. Lord Flanagan struck me and told me to stand down as it was his direct order. He told me if I betray his order he would have me punished by death.
I saw a broken man and thought if I could stake down Darnag it may help restore Lord Flanagan to the paladin I knew. I left the Order that night to kill Darnag. I knew Darnag was a champion of Bane but I felt something inside me would protect me and destroy Darnag. After a few days travel I located Darnag’s hiding spot. I called him out and he greeted me with his dark blade. I fought as hard as I could but Darnag struck me down. I felt my soul being consumed by the sword. I called upon Torm with my last breath telling him I fought in his honor against a sworn enemy. I told him I accepted my fate as I broke a tenet of not following an order. I felt warmth as my breath ended and the sword consumed me. I found that I did not die and felt Torm’s blessing. I harnessed the light and caught Darnag by surprise as he wielded the sword. With the power of the light, I consumed Darnag and restored the balance to the sword.
I am happy you found me and use the power of the light. With the light, I can aid you in striking down the evil who destroyed my friend Lord Flanagan.
  Lady Shadowborn:
Lady Shadowborn appears before you in your dream. Valna, thank you for freeing me from my prison. Someone betrayed me and it was only in the last few minutes I could turn the tides. With my last remain strength I was able to look into the future and saw you as a champion of good. Someone tried to destroy me by using Ebonbane. With Galrik’s help I was able to trap Ebonbane in the veil. Without access to the Realms, Ebonbane could not be reunited with Bane. The only way to destroy Ebonbane was in the veil. I had to act fast but I was not able to complete the full ritual. I was struck down by my own sword under the power of Ebonbane. With my last breath I bound my soul to Ebonbane pulling it to the veil with me. With Ebonbane destroyed Bane can not protect the other two as they needed the power of their three magical items to remain invincible. With the destruction of Ebonbane, the ritual is complete and I am able to move on as my soul is free. Please give Galrik my thanks. You watch as Lady Shadowborn turns and walks into a silver light which she becomes part of.
