Stories, Myths and Legends
- The Brazier of Truth's First Ignition In the early days of Leanroh, it was common for the people of leanroh to resolve disputes through bloodshed. The people had no shared language, no common culture, and violence seemed to be the only way. One day, a particularly brutal feud threatened to plunge the territory into chaos. On that fateful night, Avihjya descended from the sky. She came before the quarreling people, her face concealed by a veil of pure gold, holding an unlit brazier. She declared, "Within this brazier lies the matter of contention, but also the light of truth. Speak your grievances, and let truth light the path to resolution." As each leader spoke their grievances into the brazier, their words took form as bursts of searing light. The light flared with each lie, but remained steady and bright with each truth. By the end of the night, the lies had been radiated away, leaving only the truth. The people resolved their feud peacefully, and from then on, the Brazier of Truth became a sacred artifact used in dispute resolution throughout Leanroh.
