Ynnfelian Crossbow

The Ynnfelian Crossbow, was a strange crossbow found by Felix Lybica in Ynnfelin during his study at College of Lore there.
The crossbow was upgraded form light to heavy by Felix with the assistance of Tarknak Dvenkuul in Yjngdwen. After killing a number of local goblins, an apparition appeared, only visible and audible to Felix, instructing him to find the book he was already searching for, but also destroy it upon finding it. The apparition also asked a few questions and seemed suprised at Ynnfelin's existence. 
Following the instructions of the apparition, Felix found and destroyed the book with the help of Aldir Mardurr, whom the apparition warned him could be a future threat, but not by Aldir's own choice but because he is a gold dragonborn. The apparition then thanked Felix for his unquestioning obedience and allowed him a truthful answer to one specific question. Felix asked him what is goal was, and the apparition stated it was to protect his stilling living family or their descendants. It then instructed him to go and check something in Shennor, but refused to state what, urging him that like the book, it was better for everyone if he didn't know.
During the battle against the guardian golem of Nhirgven's tomb in Great Ruins of Aularg, Felix was slain and the crossbow destroyed upon being stepped on by the guardian. Its remnants currently lie with Felix's body in Nhirgven's coffin.
