Krognack

This planet was discovered by a crew of Astartes passing through the system on a routine stop in ether travel. An asteriod belt is the only remains of Krognack. After scanning the surrounding space and reconstructing what might of happened, it was discovered that Krognack was destroyed from the surface of the planet rather than from orbit. A group of three astartes were able to land a craft on the largest of the asteriods in the belt and found traces of radiation that could only be linked to the destruction and thereby creation of the asteriod belt now named Krognack. Extremely dense deposites of minerals were also found upon analyzing the contents of a sample taken from the belt. Krognack has been given a second chance at glory, being repurposed into an imperium mining outpost.
