Hadaalin
Geography
Hadaalin is a densely populated forest in its western reaches and sits to the south of the Drinuvarian Kingdom and North west of the @Kindarian Enclave. The north of the country is a monsterous mountain range, touching the sky and wreathed in rich vegetation. The southern coast of Hadaalin stops abruptly, in many places in a dramatic cliff. This serves as a natural defence for the country and its fauna. Because of these cliffs, settlements can happen in only a few places. these settlements mainly sit at the mouth of a river, before the main body of the river gives way to delta.
Ecosystem
The fauna within Hadaalin is rich and diverse, with creatures of all shapes, sizes and colours. From a vast array of insect and bird life to huge a fearsome Apex predators. the secluded and dense nature of the wilderness of Hadaalin means that the largest of creatures can roam, hunt, and make shelter without being disturbed by the people who call this country home.
Natural Resources
Wood harvested from the dense forests of Hadaalin has proved to be far superior to that of their neighbours. The wood here can be used to create gravity defying buildings and extremely capable ships . For that reason export is again tightly controlled by the Government in order to maintain the upper hand at sea. The mountains of Hadaalin contain deposits of most valuable metals but the richness and accessability of these materials is kept a close secret by the government. If they were thought to have bountiful resources another power may decide that they don't need all of them and to the contrary, with minimal resources they might also be considered an easy target.
Tourism
Hadaalin does see some tourism from its surrounding countries but this is limited by several factors. firstly the wilderness of the country is a harsh and unforgiving one meaning only the bravest, most foolish or most well prepared explorers tend to venture outside of the main cities. Secondly, while visiting the cities of Hadaalin is free and with little restriction, leaving the city is only possible with a permit for those few tourists. This not only reduces the chances of people disappearing but also helps to protect the ecosystem of Hadaalin from those who wish to hunt exotic and hardy prey.
