Westrond

Western Ambrose

Westrond is a mining outpost in the Lightless Highlands of Ambrose. It's known for its primary export of silver, a rare metal in the Dynasty, but the mountains are also rich in iron and copper.

History

Westrond used to be a tribal orcish city called Varond. Circa -550 MR, a war broke out in the mountains between the Ambrose Dynasty and the clans of the Lightless Highlands, and the city fell to the Belsworn.
Old records mentioned a rare material called Zardazik that was found in rare deposits within these mountains.
