Dragonborn
Like the humans, the dragonborn are a people without a home. Once hailing from the realm of Atradia, the dragonborn’s homeland was destroyed by Janus, the god of madness. Unlike humans, the god of the dragonborn remains as their leader. Most of the dragonborn including their god took up residence in the dwarven capital of Crystalis. Dragonborn are strong and proud, rather than conforming to the dwarven society, they etched out their own civilization within the dwarven city. Together, the dragonborn and the dwarven empires make up the twin nation states of the Dilvari Collective.
Dragonborn are among the children of the dragon god Gilgamesh. From him they take a variety of features, from their scaly hides, to long tails, to their ability to breath elemental magic from their mouths. Futhermore, as Gilgamesh is seen as the god of both good and bad luck, may people view seeing a lone dragonborn while on the road as being a good or a bad omen for things to come.
