Dragons

Dragons are beings of great physical power and magical aptitude. The first dragons were the children of the God of Justice, Gilgamesh, born from his ideals of holiness, righteousness, and order, the first dragons, or the Elder Dragons, were a powerful and strict people, enforcing the laws of their kingdoms.   But other gods grew jealous of the power of Gilgamesh and his dragons. One god, known as the Dread Dragon, created a new breed of dragon, Chaos Dragons. Where Elder Dragons are noble and honorable, Chaos Dragons are vile and hideous beasts obsessed with disease and pain.

Basic Information

Anatomy

Elder Dragons are usually long and thin reptiles with shining metallic scales, ethereal cloud like beards, and deer like antlers. Most Elder Dragons have six to 8 limbs across their serpentine bodies, with multiple sets of feathered wings.   Chaos Dragons on the other hand are much more malignant and warped than Elder Dragons. Some Chaos Dragons have heavy matted fur, with rat like mouths and bat wings. But others are writhing masses of tentacles encased in an exoskeleton of bone.

Dragons of all varieties are omnivorous. Eating plants, and meats equally.

Most dragons are fiercely independent. They do not work well together, rather preferring isolation from others of their kind.
