Medica Omni-Implant

The Medica Omni-Implant is the single most expensive item created in the post Cataclysm world. This piece of advanced technology was designed by a team of talented engineers as Medica Mechanica in the Clockwork Empire for use in the Imperial defensive forces. However, due to its high cost of manufacture, as well as how difficult it is to properly install the augmentation successfully, it rarely saw production outside of test models and for a few high ranking Imperial soldiers.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The exact internal workings of this augmentation is a closely guarded Mechanica secret. Its general design is built around an artificial spinal column that is carefully laid over the subjects existing spinal column, connecting to it, and to the base of the subjects skull allowing for the individual to control the rest of the implant directly as if they were controlling their own body.   The rest of the system is a highly advanced exoskeletal system that replaces the subjects skin and eyes, transforming them into something that more closely resembles a gearforged than a living being. This metallic skin comes equipped with a variety of on board combat systems ranging from spellthrower firearms, to magitech combat arrays, but can be personalized with a variety of different hard-point systems at the request of the military.
RPG NOTES   This cybernetic upgrade requires 6 attunement points, therefore requiring a constitution score of 20 in order for it to be installed.   Once installed, the subject gains Immunity: Non Magical Weapons, +4 to strength, +2 to dexterity, and +4 to constitution.   The subject gains proficiency in and advantage on the following skill checks, Athletics, Acrobatics, and Intimidation.   Furthermore, the subject's unarmed dice damage increases by one dice size to a minimum of 1d4. This damage is counted as magical for the purpose of overcoming resistances.   The implant also counts as heavy armor, setting the wearers ac to 20. Regardless of their armor proficiency.   The subject gains disadvantage in stealth and gains a vulnerability to lightning damage.   The onboard weapon system allows for 3 hardpoint combat upgrades. These upgrades allow for the user to either A: have a built in weapon they can treat as a natural weapon that cannot be disarmed from them, to B: an effect from the list below for an additional 10,000gp each.   1. Oracle Vision, this hardpoint upgrade grants darkvision and blindsight 60ft   2. Aquatic Motorization, this hardpoint grants the user waterbreathing 2 hours as well as a swim speed equal to their movespeed.   3. Enhanced Servo Motors, this hardpoint enables the subject to sprint as a free action on their turn.   4. Missile Rack, this rack has 6 charges per long rest. As a standard action, you can expend one of these charges to cast magic missile as a third level spell.   5. Source Cannon, this hard-point allows for the subject to cast dragons breath as a first level spell on themselves as an at will effect.   6. Electronic dampening. Removes the vulnerability to lightning damage.
