Arcopolis of Amethisefe

The Arcopolis of Amethisefe is the ancient-era citadel located on the isolated island. It's a popular tourist attraction within the territory of the Sungear Republic.

According to archeologists, the place was the colony of once powerful empire in the world. Not only the complex are that big, the empire it originated from is shockingly several thousand kilometers away, showing how powerful and dominated they were.

Architecture

It's the ancient-era wonder on the isolated island, connected to the mainland via a long marble bridge, decorated in precise details. The island contain several structure built out of the same materials with various usage; Houses, offices, and temple. The wide staircase coming from the bridge connects all buildings together which led to the wide, smooth square.

On the highest elevation lies the main building and the largest one called Temple of Amethisefe. It was 14 meters high up to the ceiling, and 17 meters to the top. It's one of the building that are fully restored. It's believed to be the worship place of the god with the same name.

History

By the time it's discovered a few hundred years ago, the bridges were heavily destroyed, the whole island had been covered in dense plant and under it, much of marble structures were crumbling down.

Heavily deteriorated, it's such a painful jobs to restore what would've been a thousand year old mega complex. The government started the restoration project for decades now to make it as good as it was, even though it's a slow progress and being put in low priority.

Tourism

Millions tourists visit the temple every year, even the tough they are limiting per day to prevent unnecessary damage and interrupting the resconstruction site. They have to walk across the rebuilt bridge. The visiter center at the end holds an exhibition explaining its history and how the place used to be. The place opened from 7 am to 8 pm - every wednesday to sunday.

I can't believed we have a date outside my hometown! Dewitt and I happened to have the same vacation time so why not? I've learned about the temple since when I was a child and it look pretty romantic so we decided to take a ticket. The flight took around 4 hours, then we took a touring bus to get there. The people are so crowd but we've to get into the bridge.
The people back then must be so tough. There's no rooftop along the way, and there's no cloud too! Even we brought an umbella the air was so hot I started to think if this trip was a good idea.
Overall we had a good date. The complex looked cleaner than I thought. We shared some good moments together under both the clear blue sky and of course the lovely temple. They even had a food booths!
It was unforgettable days, I hoped we go back again someday :)
