Incarnata (In car naht ah)

The Incarnata Ritual is one that through the manipulation of Ylem teethers part of an Aeon to a vessel in the Expanse. The ritual was created by Arius, leader of the Dreon. The ritual, designed to force the return of Prunikos, is incredibly dangerous and results in mass death and pain as it goes against the will of Pleroma.
Successful Incarnata The First Incarnata
The Dredon successfully teetherd a Shard of Paras into a constructed body during this time, but the shard was intially unstable and destroyed the laboratory and killed all present. Long thought as a failed incarnata it was later learned that the Shard and vessel both survived the explosion.
The Second Incarnata
After learning from their mistakes i the First, the Dreon undertook a second ritual, this time using Arius' young daughter, Inanis, as the vessel. They succesfully teeethered a shard of Poieo to the girl,but the cost to her was great. Inanis, afraid and confused internalized the ylem of the Shard, so unlike the first Incarnata the resulting ylem reaction is internal rather then external. This left Inanis a broken, continuely dying creature who is only kept alive and whole by vast transfusions of ylem to keep both vessel and shard intact
