Ma' Lanaat
The Matriarch of the Hureg family with which the party travelled. She is a fierce leader and believes in the independence of her people from the likes of the Mansa. She seems stern with her son, @Bisal, but this is part of her way of ensuring his survival.
She spent some time exploring the ruins of the desert as a way of acquiring skills and items for her people. She helped the party find the palace in their search for the ancient Yuan Ti.
To secure peace and a new home for her people, Ma Lanat gave up her leadership to ther rival Carmessa.
