The Eastern Continent is ruled by the Mansa AlTanin who governs over the Seven Tribes from the city of Tebukai. He acts, not only as ruler but also as the voice of the one god in their polytheistic faith.

The Capital is constantly under the protection of the Mansa's warding magic, though it is questionable how much of their free will they retain. All administrative, scientific, religious and educative tasks are performed by the Dragonborn Imams and the draconic merchant caste, such as Kwame.
