Chorus cave is one of the more well known sea caves of the Siren Islands, an important place for the siren populace and their traditions. A place of collective unison, found in song, where the island dwellers can practice their melodies both during and off the festivities.

Of Song & Sea

The cave itself lies southwards of the main siren island, accessible only by a small patch of beach from the western side during low tide periods. A few holes in the side of the cavern walls could also allow access but are often too high for a safe drop or easy exit in the first place.   Within the cave are an abundance of flat rock formations connected with bridges and platforms to allow a safe stage to stand upon. The siren community's generations of ceremonies and festivities leave it decorated in all sorts of local flowers, even decorating the cavern walls with paint and drawings.   The cavern walls also help well with acoustics, allowing sounds to travel between them without much overlap. The cave gets its name from it as well, seeing as a chorus of Sirens can perform here while melodies remain clear sounding regardless.

Ceremonies

The cave houses a multitude of ceremonies and festivals throughout the year, usually for moments like marriages and local holidays. Others even just visit it for singing practice, providing the right environment for one to tune their voice and get the right melody going.   While outsiders have participated into these rituals, its low tide restrictions do make it hard to access without a boat or swimming capabilities. Some attempts to make it more accessible during high tides have led to a dock being built within the cave, allowing a rowboat to bring landdwellers here as well.
