Caulsot

Government

The city is run by a small council known as the Dove Court. It is comprised of six people, three of whom are escaped slave-mages from the Vilhon Reach. The Dove Court attempts to balance the city's goal of liberating more of the Vilhon Reach's slaves and the safety of its own people.

Guilds and Factions

Zhentarim: The Zhentarim have a very small presence in Caulsot. Due to Zhent activity in being hired as mercenaries that sometimes act as slavers, the Dove Court does not like Zhentarim activity in the city. The one exception currently is Yenzixos Axatalles, a dragonborn wizard who is dedicated to using Zhentarim resources to free Vilhon Reach slaves.
Harpers: Due to to the Dove Court's stance on freeing slaves, the Harpers have a quite massive presence in the city. Many of the more powerful mages in the city are members of the Harpers, and this systems is responsible for infiltrating the Vilhon Reach and liberating slaves.

Architecture

The city's buildings are made of beautiful white and gray stone that is magnificently and expertly masoned. Many towers that are home to the city's powerful mages erupt from the skyline, each adorned in its own special way to represent the mage who lives there.
