Yova

The original wielder of Courtecouse. She was cursed as a child with a curse similar to vampirism; though she was not a vampire, she still needed to drink blood or the life force of other creatures to survive. After an extended period of alienation, she became friends with Freiyul, who felt sorry for Yova's curse. Freiyul got Odyn and Marosa to craft Courtecouse, a weapon which allowed Yova to steal the life-force of her enemies without needing to physically drink their blood. After she pursued and killed her original curser (which took many many years), she became content to pass on, and refused to steal any more life forces to survive.
